Now I honestly don't know about the meetings situation, but I doubt it will be both. I've also just started working for a friend to help him out and that throws an additional spanner in the works as he's really counting on me and needs me as much as possible over the next three months. I'll try my best.
As for the cats making women horny theory - I'm not going to give a smart-ass reply to ths actually. I'll take it seriously. I was feeling kind of frisky before we got them, but the minute we did it went away. I have a feeling that it might be because they are only little kittens and so I instantly felt very maternal. Protective, not predatory and hungry. It has been a few weeks now that we've had them and I'm feeling slinky and sensual. Maybe that will develop into something more aggressive I don't know. But no I don't feel horny. I guess you could say that I feel like a slinky mother! (as in 'mummy' not 'mutha')

Andy, you chill mate - I'll be there. If I were in the North I'd put more effort in, but I'm a Southern fairy at the moment which sucks. Count me in, and I'll be the secretary should one be needed.
Helen,
The cat thing isn't a joke. Apparantly, there is a virus that many cats carry that can be contracted by humans. It makes women heat up and be a bit randier, but it's supposed to make men more irritable. It affects the blood you see, and men and women react differently. Least that's what I read...
Anyway, the final word on the meetings seems to be wer'e going ahead with both. I'll see you at Manchester Andy, and then I'll be training it to Guildford. Topics will hopefully NOT be covered twice, and at least if no one shows, we can get buckled before the real action in Guildford.
Bottoms up...

Oh I know it's not a joke, I heard the same theory, once from a friend and also on Richard and Judy. (Don't ask.) I heard it also makes men into slobs and they go all scruffy and grumpy. I hope that's not true or my man will be impossible to live with. And after all that hard work I put into teaching him unbridled narcissism .

Well my dear Helen, I hope he's learned his lessons well... Anyway, I'm going to research the "Cat theory" a little more and get back to you. I think it's quite an interesting little topic don't you?!

It is very interesting. However I am not very quick to trust theories like this which claim universality. Not because I think it is impossible for something to be universal but just because people are too keen to swallow them. And I don't like that because it just becomes another way for the world to conveniently categorise you before really getting to know you. Anyway, I'm going to be my own case study.

Heh, kittens in mittens...
BTW, I love the picture of Dani Filth. I still say "Mideon" is their best album though. I saw them live at The Venue in Edinburgh - now THAT was a show...

Old COF were better, the more gothic music but yeah Midian was a good album and the artwork was brilliant. But to be honest, I can only see them as a comedy act.
I saw them live here in Manchester nearly 3 years ago with Usurper and Christian Death supporting. The stage show is good and yeah they are good live.....especially the lesbians with their titties out.

I'm a big fan of the Christian Death of the Rozz Williams era and some of the Valor/Gitane era. But I lost track of them. What's the latest incarnation like?

I thought they were good when I saw them. I've never really listened to them much.

Yeah, not heard them. But I'm sorry, I've yet to see anyone better than Metallica at Milton Keynes in '93. I was so young and impressionable, and damn did they leave an impression!

My first ever gig was the Manic Street Preachers which was good (I was 13) but the first gig I went nuts about was my second gig which was The Cure (I just turned 14).Fabulous. My favourite gig ever was Marilyn Manson at Braehead Arena in July just past. Amazing show. Anyway the meetings are a problem for me because I have to work weekends now for my friend. He really needs my help. I will still see what I can arrange but I'm sorry you really can't count on me, not this time . In three month's time I'll be in a better position.
